Nor Alia Sofia, my youngest daughter is currently six years old. Currently schooling in an islamic kindergaden, Tadika Fawaz at Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh. When She was 5 years old she went to an english kindergaden known as Tadika Progressive.
Very often she told me that she wants to be a newscaster. Every time when I came home from work she would ask from me the newspaper and she would read the papers as if she is reading the news.
Apart from reading newspapers, she also likes to draw. Since she likes to draw so much, I have to bring home from office re-cycled papers for to practice her drawings. Then, I noticed that she really have the flare and passion for drawings. In this blog, I would like to share with all of you out there the drawings by Nor Alia Sofian Bt Hj Ahmad Sofian. This first drawing is about a boy named Martin who likes to tease girls at the school. In the dialogue box, Martin said 'ha! ha!' to the girl. While the girl responded 'Hmmm..bad guy'. From this drawing, I noticed that Nor Alia is able to show the mischievous expression in Martin as well as the annoyed expression in the little girl. I am not sure if this sketch is based on her own experience in school or is it from the television shows that she watched. I'll have to find out from her. But whatever it is, I think Nor Alia is able to show the expression in her drawings very effectively.
This second drawing is Nor Alia's expression of a princess. The princess is wearing hear 'Tiara' but appears to be sad.
Her third drawing is her expression of "Powerpuff Girl Zee Bubbles". She said she likes Powerpuff Girls, a character in a Japanese Cartoon shown in ASTRO Cartoon Network.See you next week for more drawings from Nor Alia
